The project aims to enhance transgender rights discourse in two parts.
Part one observes emerging and evolving discourses that prejudice transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) populations across social domains. Part two explores the communicative strategies employed by professionals and advocates of TGD populations. Together, these studies seek to advance transgender rights and visibility through positive and productive discourse.

The second half of the study is currently recruiting professionals and advocates who (1) work with transgender individuals and/or educate their families, colleagues, or the public on transgender-related issues and/or (2) advocate for transgender populations' rights. Participants will partake in a 1-hour one-to-one interview with the researcher, a nonbinary individual from the United States.
